Our cottage has 3 bedrooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and shower room and comfortably sleeps up to 8 people.
The bedrooms are furnished as follows;
One main double bedroom downstairs.
One small double bedroom upstairs.
One larger bedroom upstairs with four single beds.
All beds have duvets.
Please take your own bed linen and towels.
The lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and shower room are downstairs.
The bathroom has a bath, a shower over the bath, hand basin and W.C.
The shower room has an electric shower, hand basin and W.C.
There are electric shaver points in the bathroom and shower room.
There is a wall-mounted fan heater and heated towel rail in both the bathroom and shower room.
The modern kitchen has an automatic washing machine, fridge, freezer, electric cooker, toaster and microwave.
The dining room is in the new part and looks up the Allt Arder burn towards Roy’s Hill. See the picture above.
HEATING
There is electric heating in every room. If preferred, there is an open fire in the living room. The storage heating is not normally on in the summer. Water heating is by immersion but the open fire in the lounge also heats the water so that is a bonus !
There is coal in the shed. The cost is £15 per bag.
TELEVISION
Television sets, fitted with an outside aerial, are provided in the lounge and dining room.
An old record/tape player plays all sizes of records.
There are also a VCR and a DVD player in the lounge.
There is a portable radio/CD player.
